WHO IS BESTRATE?

BestRate Financial was started in Ancaster in 2000 by Paula Scott and quickly became the most successful brokerage in Hamilton within a few years.
After over 15 years and in response to an evolving technological world, BestRate became home-based in 2017. Furthermore, in 2019 BestRate decided to expand its customer service and resources, along with it’s product options and quality by joining The Mortgage Centre Canada.

We are still The Scott Team of BestRate Financial, but we have joined an amazing support system with an incredible platform in order to give you even more outstanding service.

WHO IS PAULA?

Paula has over 30 years of business experience and over 20 years as a mortgage broker. Being a mortgage broker means          more to Paula than simply getting her clients a mortgage.Her philosophy as an accredited mortgage professional is to make  sure that every detail of your mortgage is understood by you, her client. Nothing is more important than your complete satisfaction.

Along with her Honour’s Business Degree in Finance and her previous lending experience, Paula was nominated for best independent broker in Canada and has an outstanding reputation in the across Ontario. Paula has extensive knowledge in all aspects of the mortgage industry, and she’s undoubtedly the best at providing professional unbiased advice and assistance throughout the entire financing process. In her spare time, Paula enjoys reading, walking her dogs and playing guitar.
